Fit4birth a low impact exercise class for pregnant ladies by Fit and Healthy Mums in Abingdon, Oxford, Faringdon, Wantage

Fit4birth is a low impact fitness class that is structured specifically for pregnant ladies.

In each class we cover a range of different types of exercise from light cardio based work to body weight moves. One week we may incorporate some easy to follow aerobics and the next session focus on toning and strengthening work. But we will always have a gentle warm up, ensure all the major muscle groups are well worked plus spend time on breathing technique, relaxation and stretching.

Particular attention is paid to exercises that will aid good posture, back strengthening and help the pelvic floor.

Lots of alternatives of exercises are always provided throughout the class so that you are able to adapt movements to your level of fitness and more importantly how you are feeling. We are experts in our field, and are more than used to teaching a class where some Ladies require extra help and others are wanting to make things more challenging!

This is a fun and friendly class and a great way to meet other new Mums-to-be. Meeting other ‘Mums and bumps’ will often mean that you have a friendly face to share the last few days of ‘waiting for baby to arrive’ with. Plus a coffee buddy and a familiar face at our postnatal sessions.

This class is suitable from your 12 week scan up until your baby’s arrival.
